ITINERARY

 

Day 1:

Your luxury golfing break of the Highlands will start with you arriving at Inverness airport and met by our tour representative. A coach and driver will be on hand ready to escort you up to the seaside village of Brora where you will stay at the Royal Marine Hotel. The rest of your day will be spent settling in to this magnificent Hotel

The Royal Marine Hotel conspires to take guests back to a less frenetic, more gracious era. The house itself, designed in 1913 by Sir Robert Lorimer, commands a fine position overlooking the mouth of the River Brora, and has settled into a graceful old age - mellowed by time and a rich and colourful history of occupation.

 

Day 2:

Today you will be golfing over the James Braid designed Golf Course of Brora. This seaside links layout is one of Scotlands classic hidden Gems and will ensure that you use every club in the bag. Tonight you will again be staying at the Royal Marine Hotel.

Day 3:

This world famous course is regularly in the world’s top 20 golfing venues. It is a classic links layout and with its natural slants, humps of old dune embankments and huge sloping greens and is a venue that has got to be sampled when golfing in the Highlands of Scotland.

 

 

 

Royal Durnoch

 

After testing your golfing skills to the limit it will be off to visit the nearby Glenmorangie distillery. The distillery dates back to 1843 and it is here that you will be able to experience for yourself how the “Dram” is developed, produced and then casked before enjoying a  tasting of this unique drink.                   

It will then be back to the Royal Marine Hotel in Brora for your final nights stay here.

    

Day 4:

After your full Scottish breakfast you will depart the Royal Marine and make your way South, stopping on route to golf over the wonderful Links course at Tain. With the sea on one side and the backdrop of the mountains behind, every day brings a different aspect to this challenging and beautiful course. This 18 hole links layout is a another ‘Hidden Gem’ in Scottish golf and guarantees to be an interesting round for golfers of all abilities.

  You will then carry on South to Culloden House Hotel, which will be the chosen accommodation for the next 4 nights.     

 

Day 5:

 Nairn Golf Club will be the golfing venue for today. Home to the 1999 Walker Cup and regarded by many to be one of the best links golf course

  in Scotland. This 18 hole Championship layout was created from a wilderness of whins and heather and tests the talents of professional and amateur alike. As well as the tight lying fairways the greens are amongst the best that the golfer will ever putt across.  After your golf it will be back to the luxurious surroundings of Culloden House Hotel.

 

Day 6:

The splendid tree lined course at Boat of Garten is where your golfing skills will be tested today. This 18 hole layout is situated South of

Inverness, about a 45 minute drive away. Designed by James Braid, this Wooded Heathland layout is not only a demanding test of skill but also a magnificent setting for the game.

The view from the clubhouse to the Cairngorm Mountains is incomparable, certainly within the realms of Scottish golf.

After golf it will be back to Inverness and the Culloden House Hotel.

Day 7:

The final days golf of this wonderful trip will be played today at Nairn Dunbar. Nairn Dunbar is a formidable Championship course, giving

treasured golfing memories to visitors from around the world. This typical links layout enjoys a growing reputation for high-quality competition golf and is renowned for its openness and friendliness as well as its technical challenge

 

Day 8:

Unfortunately all good things must come to an end and it will be off to Inverness airport in time for your flight home.

 

 

Itinerary Includes:

  • Coach and driver for the duration of your stay – Pick up and drop off at airport.

  • 4 nights accommodation at the Links Hotel, Brora with full Scottish Breakfast

  • 3 nights accommodation at the Newton Hotel, Nairn with full Scottish Breakfast

  • 5 rounds of golf as outlined

  • Tours representative to meet and greet on arrival with a drinks reception and tour briefing on arrival.
