 6 Nights 5 Rounds of Golf

ITINERARY
 

Day 1:

Met at your arrival airport and depending on your package choice you will either be shown to your self drive vehicle or directed to your Luxury Coach with driver for the transfer to Inverness and the Maple Court Hotel.

A superb riverside setting within a private woodland garden of 2 acres.  Only a short walk from the hustle and bustle of Inverness town center is the former home of Doctor William Simpson, provost of the ancient Royal Burgh of Inverness.  This historical

mansion is over 160 years old and has been carefully upgraded to host all of the modern luxuries for today’s visitors.  This beautiful and historic mansion overlooks the River Ness.  The Maple will be your home for the next 8 nights.

The Highland capital of Inverness, which became Scotland’s newest city in 2001.  Inverness High Street and Victorian Market provide a diversity of shopping experiences with many top chain stores in the city center and the nearby Eastgate Center where a wide range of specialist retailers are found in and around the market.  Products on display throughout the city include Highland knitwear, books, music, and crafts from all over Scotland.
Many shops also sell traditional Highland goods, jewelry, ornaments, and local artwork.  There is also a local museum, castle, woolen mill and the River Ness to help make your day a bit more special.

 

Day 2:

Your first round of Golf for the week will be played over the Golf Course of Tain. 

 

With the sea on one side and the backdrop of the mountains behind, every day brings a different aspect to this challenging and beautiful course. This 18-hole links layout is another ‘Hidden Gem’ in Scottish golf and guarantees to be an interesting round for golfers of all abilities.

Day 3: Nairn Golf Club will be the golfing venue for today.  
 

Home to the 1999 Walker Cup and regarded by many to be one of the best links golf course in Scotland. This 18-hole Championship layout was created from a wilderness of whins and heather and tests the talents of professional and amateur alike.   As well as the tight lying fairways the greens are amongst the best that the golfer will ever putt across

Day 4:

The splendid tree lined course at Boat of Garten is where your golfing skills will be tested today.    

 

This 18-hole layout is situated South of Inverness, about a 45-minute drive away.  Designed by James Braid, this Wooded Heathland layout is not only a demanding test of skill but also a magnificent setting for the game.  The view from the clubhouse to the Cairngorm Mountains is incomparable, certainly within the realms of Scottish golf.

Day 5:

Today your golf will be played over the world-renowned layout of Royal Dornoch.

 

This course was recently voted the 16th best course in the world.  It is a classic links layout and with its natural slants, humps of old dune embankments and huge sloping greens and is a venue that has got to be sampled when golfing in the Highlands of Scotland.

Day 6:

Inverness Golf Course will be the golfing venue today

This 18-hole parkland layout in the heart of Inverness will provide a nice break from the Links golf of yesterday.  A true test of golf with fantastic greens and tree lined fairways it is a course that is often missed by the visiting golfer, but for those that do sample it’s golfing delights they always want to return.

Day 7:

Unfortunately all good things come to an end and today you will need to collect your belongings and along with all those treasured memories of your trip leave for the airport ready for your departure.
 

 

Itinerary Includes:

  • Hire car or cars for the duration of your stay. This vehicle will be big enough for 4 adults with golf clubs and luggage and will include fully comprehensive insurance and unlimited mileage.

  • 6 nights accommodation at the Maple Court Hotel, Inverness with full Scottish Breakfast daily.

  • 5 rounds of golf as outlined. Carts or caddies reserved.

  • Tour of Urquhart Castle.

  • A representative to meet and greet on arrival with a drinks reception and tour briefing on arrival. 

    Prices are based on 8 golfers sharing double occupancy of standard rooms. Single supplement and room upgrades available on request.

    Luxury Coach and Driver can also be arranged price for this is below.
