ITINERARY

Day 1:

Depart USA for Ireland PM.

Day 2:

Arrive Shannon Airport AM.  Met by your driver to transport to Killarney Park Hotel. This will be your home for the next 5 nights. (Killarneyparkhotel.com). Rest and relax today and stroll the wonderful town of Killarney.

The Killarney Park Hotel is superbly located on its own grounds adjacent to the center of Killarney town. It offers the perfect base from which to pursue a host of outdoor activities including golf on Kerry's premier courses, river and lake fishing, horse riding, shooting and hill walking or trekking through Killarney's spectacular National Park.

Day 3:

Golf today is Ring of Kerry Golf Club. (ringofkerrygolf.com).  Carts reserved.

As Kerry's foremost golfing experience, the Ring of Kerry Golf & Country Club sits majestically overlooking spectacular Kenmare Bay. This 18 hole, par-72 world-class, golf course nestles between the towering majesty of the MacGillycuddy Reeks and the Caha mountains and enjoys an unspoiled view of one of the most panoramic scenes to be found on any golf course in Ireland.

Day 4: Golf today is at Tralee Golf Club. (traleegolf.com).
Caddies reserved.

Tralee Clubhouse

This stunning setting represents a true paradise for those willing to challenge what is widely acclaimed as one of the finest links courses in Ireland.

" I have never come across a piece of land so ideally suited for the building of a golf course. I may have designed the first nine, but surely God designed the back nine" .... Arnold Palmer

Day 5

Golf today is at Killarney Mahony’s Point. (killarney-golf.com/mahonys). Golf carts reserved.

Golf has been played in Killarney since 1891, originally on a nine hole inland course. Then in 1939 it was expanded to an 18 hole course. The expansion brought the course to the lakeside and added outstanding beauty.

This superb course, situated beside the famous lakes of Killarney, is a good test for golfers of all skill levels. At 6164 meters it is the shortest of our three courses, but with a combination of well undulated greens, well positioned bunkers and water hazards, wayward shots will often find big trouble.

Day 6

Sightseeing today.  The spectacular “ Ring Of Kerry”.

The ' Ring of Kerry ' is Ireland's most famous tour.  The scenery is spectacular all along the route.  Stretching out into the Atlantic Ocean, the Iveragh Peninsula has a backbone of mighty mountains. Every environment is here, from the snow-capped Corrán Tuathail, Ireland's loftiest peak, through woodland and blanket bog, to the sandy beaches of the coast. The warm waters of the Gulf Stream ensure a mild climate all the year round. Sub-tropical plants grow quite happily here - adding marvelous splashes of colour to the countryside.

Day 7

Depart for Dromoland Castle your home for the next 2 nights. (dromoland.ie).  On the way lunch and golf at Adare Manor. (adaremanor/golf1). Golf carts reserved.

Dromoland castle, a magnificent Renaissance structure built in the 16th century, was once the royal seat of the O'Brien clan. Refurbished and transformed into a luxury hotel in 1962, it retains priceless reminders of the Castle's historic past. Splendid woodcarvings and stone statuary, hand-carved paneling and fine antique furnishings surround guests. On the Castle's 375-acre estate, guests can hunt, fish, ride horseback, golf, play tennis and more.

An architectural masterpiece of towers, turrets, and stonework ornamentation, Adare Manor is the gateway of Ireland 's great southwest. The former family seat of the Earls of Dunraven the 18th-century Manor stands along the meandering River Maigue amid 840 acres of formal gardens and lush parklands. Our professional staff will pamper you in old world style.
